Exploring Boundaries in Kreta Ayer Community Center

This project evaluates the segregation of functions and territories in the urban metropolis of Singapore. It examines the physical boundaries existing in the city and redesign them to have multiple functions.
Kreta Ayer Community Centre is located within the cluster of a housing estate and it is extremely underused. It is used as a site to experiment on the different types of interactive boundaries like grids, glass, perforation and gradual level change to encourage more interaction from its users.
